Harrow-Colchester Chamber presents “Partners in Progress Series II” with guest speaker VectorBloc President Julian Bowron
Thursday May 5th at Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards, the Harrow-Colchester Chamber of Commerce presents the second in a series of “Partners in Progress” events with keynote speaker Julian Bowron, President/Owner of Vector Praxis a multi-material architectural fabricating firm, inventor and founder of VectorBloc Corporation. Mr. Bowron’s VectorBloc Corporation recently has joined a partnership with Harrow’s JMC Steel Group Inc. (Atlas Tube) Chairman Barry Zekelman and Amico Affiliates of Windsor ON, Owner/President Dominic Amicone to form a new company Connexio Building Systems Inc. for the use of patented VectorBloc precision, hollow structural steel (HSS) connection systems to construct off-site construction buildings.
Julian is the developer of the VectorBloc modular construction system, a tall capable, self-bracing, stackable precision volumetric solution. Julian has 30 years of experience directing architectural fabrication facilities and construction job sites around the world. He is described by Canadian Architect as “One of the emerging leaders in bridging the gap between designers and fabricators”. His deep knowledge of building information modeling (BIM), modularization and constructability has enabled him to convert challenges into solutions and patents.

We are excited that Mr. Bowron has chosen Harrow to form the next dimension of development for the VectorBloc system joining the growing manufacturing supply chain in Harrow Ontario including: new entry EnerQuest Services Inc. industry leader in electrical distribution, expanding operations of Sellick Equipment manufacturer of rough terrain and truck-mounted forklifts along with long-standing fabricators and manufacturers; Delta Wire, Refac Industrial and JMC Steel Group Inc. (Atlas Tube).”
Julian Bowron will speak on how innovation is key to spur growth in the Harrow business sector and development for this region. Julian’s message will be clear; focus on innovation, develop system collaborations from quality local supply chain and seek global growth from a position of regional community and advocate support.

Partners in Progress will take place at Cooper’s Hawk Vineyards on May 5th starting at 5:30 including chef style sandwiches, salads, best of the vine cash bar and networking. Cost is $15.
