DESCRIPTION:Essex – The Town of Essex is thrilled to partner with the Rotary Club of Harrow to host the Town’s first Soapbox Derby! Join us for a fun-filled day of races and family-friendly activities including a bouncy castle and kid-friendly activities. \nDate: June 24\, 2023\nTime: 8a.m. to 4p.m.\nLocation: King Street\, Harrow \n*Rain Date: July 25. Follow the Town of Essex Facebook and Twitter Account for updates.  \n“We are excited to bring the Soapbox Derby to the streets of Harrow for the first time!” said Sherry Bondy\, Mayor. “I encourage our youth to get creative and enter this unique event. It is sure to be a fun time for all.” \nIndividuals interested in racing are asked to contact the Homebuilt Soapbox Racing Association for details and registration. \nAll vehicles/racers must meet the following regulations: \n\nOpen to individuals 6 to 16 years of age.\nVehicle must be no wider than 36 inches.\nVehicle must be no longer than 7 feet.\nVehicle must be at least 6 inches off ground.\nVehicle cannot be taller than 36 inches.\nCar and driver must weigh less than 200lbs combined.\nVehicle must have 4 wheels and working brakes.\nAll drivers must have a helmet (bicycle\, hockey\, atv\, etc.)\nIn partnership with the Rotary Club of Harrow.

SUMMARY:Harrow's Miracle Food Drive
DESCRIPTION:On June 24th\, the Harrow Community Pantry volunteers will join other community groups to collect non-perishable\, cleaning and self-care items during Harrow’s Miracle Food Drive. \nCommunity members in the Harrow Core\, Colchester Village\, and on the beach roads between Meadows Road and Arner Townline are encouraged to leave their items on their porch\, front step or sidewalk before 11AM.  Donations will be collected between 11AM-12:30PM.  \nRural drop-off locations are also available before 11AM on June 24th.  These drop-off points are: \n\nHarrow Agricultural Building\nHarrow Mennonite Church\nHarrow Home Hardware\nThe Feed Store\nAll donations collected during Harrow’s Miracle Food Drive will be split between the Harrow Community Pantry and the Harrow Food Bank.
