Essex – Mayor Sherry Bondy is inviting 16 residents of the Town of Essex to take part in a CPR training course – free of charge. The program is being offered to teach residents how to be prepared in case of an emergency. CPR, or cardiopulmonary resuscitation, is a skill that anybody can do to help save a life during cardiac arrest.
“CPR is a valuable life-saving skill that everyone can benefit from.” said Sherry Bondy, Mayor. “We want to give individuals the opportunity to learn CPR so that they are prepared in case of an emergency to help save a life.”
The CPR training course will be offered on July 15, 2023 from 8:30a.m. to 12:30p.m. at the Maedel Community Centre.
Individuals are asked to register online at essexconnect.ca.
Spots are limited to 16 individuals on a first come first served basis. Those that are not able to register are asked to join the waitlist for potential future courses.
