Dear Business Owners,
The Leadership Class students from Kingsville District High School recognize that the last year has been a challenging time for you. In an effort to make a difference, we have planned an event called Love Local Bingo. It is designed to encourage high school students to spend their money at independently owned small businesses.
This school-wide event will run during the month of March. For every Love Local Bingo space, students will post proof to our event Instagram account, @love_local_bingo (please follow us!). Their posts may include selfies with servers (distanced, of course), pics of their purchases, storefronts, signage and more. The official Love Local Bingo Card will be released on Monday, March 1st. We will forward a copy, for your interest, at that time.
Our school has come to you regularly over the decades, seeking support for athletic teams, band fundraisers, and a variety of other causes. Given the economic difficulties caused by the current pandemic, we would like to take this opportunity to give back to our community.
We hope that our efforts can help create awareness, encourage future spending habits and contribute to a sense of community.
